Yes, it’s normal! The light residue comes from the natural diatomaceous earth used to make the bath mat. Simply wipe it with a damp cloth before use. If needed, you can also rinse it under water following the cleaning steps. Minor variations, such as small white dots, are natural and do not affect the bath mat’s quality or performance.
Wipe the bath mat weekly with a vinegar-water mixture and let it air dry to keep it clean and hygienic. For stains, scrub under running water with a sponge and a clear, non-coloured dishwashing liquid, then rinse well. For deeper stains, a small amount of hydrogen peroxide may help. Only if the stain remains, lightly sand the area using the included sanding tool.
This mat is designed to last. To minimise stains, we recommend stepping on it only with clean feet. For households concerned about stains, darker-coloured mats may be a better choice. With proper care, including light sanding, it will last for years.

This stone bath mat does exactly what I want. It immediately absorbs any water from the bottom of my feet as I step onto it from the shower. Any other drops falling on the mat from my body are also instantly absorbed. I feel I am stepping onto a sturdy mat without any fear of slipping. The anti-slip sheet under the pad does its job.The size of mat I got frustrates me because it's too small. Compare the size of my feet against the mat. I'd suggest that everyone should get the larger size of this mat.The mat really requires virtually no care. I've been testing it for more that 10 months now and it still looks like it did on day one. It has not developed any stains or smells. I'm someone who wipes down pretty well in the shower so I'm not throwing a lot of water onto the mat so maybe that's got something to do with it. Still, any water that does end up on the mat is soon gone back into the air.One thing that was a bit of an issue in the beginning was that the bottoms of my feet were slightly dusty from the mat (when it was new) and I would leave dusty footprints on the white floor tile when I stepped off the mat. I wiped the mat surface a few times over the first couple of weeks and the dustiness went away. All fine ever since.I'd definitely recommend this mat (just get the larger size).
I haven’t used it yet so I will update my rating if anything changes. So far I know it was packaged really well and looks great with my clawfoot tub.

C’est certain que je vais racheter le tapis jusqu’à présent nous aimons vraiment le produit.

I LOVE this mat and the customer service is 🤌🤌🤌. I really love this mat. It's super cute, it's comfy on the feet. The anti derapant liner they provide with really is anti derapant. It dries super fast. I time lapsed it and you can see the water disappearing quickly. No more weird smells compared to a normal fabric mat. Now, onto the customer service. I realized I had a stain on it after some time. Probably dropped some soap or hair mask onto it. I went to the listing page to see how to wash it. I realized I was supposed to have a small sander to help get rid of stains. I didn't want to request a refund because the mat itself is fine, I was just missing the sander! I contacted the seller and they sent me a sander through express mail with a handwritten christmas note! How sweet. They also explained how to get rid of the stain until I get the sander. Once you know how to care for it it's super easy! The color is cute. Size is perfect, it's also looking chic IMO.

This stone bath mat is really nice and actually does absorb water as quickly as they say. After stepping on it with wet feet, you can visibly see it partially dry in under a minute and fully dry minutes later. I avoided bath mats in the past due to the hygiene concerns with wet fabric and used rubber shower slippers instead. This mat changes things and allows me to stand on it soaking wet out of a shower with no concerns. Looks great as well, the price it's being sold for is not cheap but it's a quality product. Highly recommend.
It does instantly start absorbing and drying, as expected. Like other stone bath mats we've tried, the imprints and residual 20% or so of wetness takes hours more to fade and dry completely. I like that it is completely flat unlike some other stone bathmats, this makes it safer and less likely to cause trips.It's easy to clean - hair and dust can be swept off unlike on cloth bathmats where it gets stuck in the fibres. The included non slip mat seems roughly cut and very thin. Unsure how long it will last.
